Štípa (Zlín) - windmill
The windmill in Štípa is by the road towards Slušovice (about 8 km from the center of Zlín).
It is one of our smallest Dutch windmills. The mill was built in the years 1858-1860 by Kristián Kovář, an old resident of Štip, together with local people. Officially, grain was ground in the mill until the beginning of World War II, when the mill was sealed. After the war, the windmill was briefly used for occasional scrapping.
