ŠTĚPÁNOV-(part of the city of Přelouč)
I recently wandered around the village of Štěpánov, I was interested in the former fortress near the village. Partial remains can be found east of the village among the orchards.
The first mention of the fortress is from 1387, when Jan of Štěpánov is mentioned. Around 1397 it was bought by Jan ze Zdechovice and in the years 1403–1441 it was the property of Petr ze Štepánov. It was then sold to Angels from Ronovce. They sold it to Čenko Střel from Rokyc.
