Stareč - statue of Jan Sarkander
A remarkable baroque sculpture of St. John Sarkander. This martyred parish priest from Holeš is the patron saint of Moravia and Silesia and often represents the counterpart of St. Jan Nepomucký, as is the case in Starč. The statue was created sometime around 1740 by Alexander Jelínek from Velkomezříč.
