Old Saddle

The village is mentioned for the first time in 1249. On the outskirts of the village above the river Ohří and the Sedelský stream was the Slavic Hradiště. Today, the Starck castle is in its place. In 1360, the fortress of the Loket castle was built in the village. The fortress was wooden and was reduced to ashes during the Thirty Years' War.
