Stará Bystřice between Roudnica and Kratonohy

These places are the original bed of the river Bystřice, and hence they are also called Stará Bystřice, which flows from Puchlovice past the Roudnické mill to above Kratonohy and beyond Vrzáňka, where it is again connected to the new regulated riverbed and is thus a monument to the old well-known Bystřice with its coves , which prevented the natural outflow of water and caused frequent floods during spring and autumn heavy rains.…
