The Court building stands on the eastern part of Mírové náměstí in Louny (no. 1-2). The original town hall of Louna stood on this site, the construction of which was authorized by Václav IV in 1398. After the fire of the city, it was rebuilt in 1519. During the reconstruction after the partial demolition of the building in 1550, the building regained two Renaissance gables and a tower with an astronomical clock. In the basement of the house was the dreaded Brožka prison. In 1819, the town hall was demolished.…
