Šonov (Náchod district)
The village of Šonov, located under the Javorí mountains, is the longest village in the Broumovsk region (it reaches a length of about 7 km). At the same time, it also has the largest cadastral area. We date the origin of Šonov to the second half of the 13th century. It gradually grew in importance and in the middle of the 19th century it even became the most populous village in Broumovskogo.
