Solvay quarries
The main goal of this tour is the open-air museum of limestone mining and transportation in the Czech Karst, which is located on the site of the former Solvay quarries. As the open-air museum is located in the Český Kras PLA, it is not possible to drive to it. We chose the train as a means of transport and had a very nice trip around the open-air museum.
