Statues and monuments in Litomyšl from the 19th century to the present day

One of the dominant features of Smetana Square is undoubtedly the bronze monument to Bedřich Smetana by the sculptor Jan Štursa (1880-1925; it is actually his last completed monumental realization) and the architect Pavel Janák (1882-1956) from 1924.
