Statue of a wounded soldier in Chlumec

Before entering the church of St. Havel in Chlumec, hidden under sturdy trees, there is a larger-than-life-sized statue of a wounded soldier. This statue was created in the sculpture workshop of F. Watzko in Teplice, then in 1936 it was placed in front of St. Havel's church (more about the church here) and in the same year, under the patronage of commandant Franz Köler, it was ceremonially unveiled in memory of the victims of the First World War.
