Statue of St. Jan Nepomucký in Velká Bíteš

On the square in Velká Bíteš stands a sculpture of St. Jan Nepomucký. It was made already in 1714, as is clear from the chronogram in the inscription on the back of the plinth, i.e. even before John's beatification. However, the statue was not moved to its current location until 1826, as it used to be a pillory.
