Statue of the Virgin Mary, Polom

The statue of the Virgin Mary on a tall column stands on the edge of the village of Polom by the road from Sudslava to Prorub and Potštejn. On the front side of the pedestal is the inscription: "Behold the maiden of the Lord, be it unto me according to Thy word. Luk. I. 38". On the back side of the pedestal is the inscription: "Established by Václav and Anna Hylák 1876 to the honor and praise of God". The statue was repaired in 1927 and then in 1994.
