The statue of Antonín Sova in the city of Pacov

This monument is located near the castle in the town of Pacov and commemorates the local native Antonín Sova, an important Czech poet and novelist who lived from 1864 to 1928.
 
Antonín Sova was born in 1864 in the Pacov castle. And his subsequent life was also closely connected with this region.
 
The city of Pacov did not forget its native and shortly after Sov's death (in Pacov) decided to build a monument to him.
