Sněžka reaches a height of 1602 m above sea level and thus ranks first among the highest mountains in the Krkonoše Mountains and the entire Czech Republic. Mount Sněžka is located on the Border Ridge in the eastern part of the Giant Mountains. The Czech-Polish border passes through the peak. The southern Czech side falls into the Giant Mine.
