The small village with the castle of Slezské Pavlovice is located in the northernmost part of the Osoblaha spur, 4,5 km north of Osoblaha in the Bruntál district. There is a border with Poland on three sides of the municipal cadastre, and only one road leads here, from Osoblaha. The castle is in the northern part of the village behind the village. Silesian, formerly German Pavlovice was a fief of the Olomouc bishopric and is mentioned in a document of Bruno of Schauenburg in 1267. Apparently…
