Slavětín nad Metují
The first written mention of Slavětín dates from 1495. At that time, however, it was two separate villages, Hlohov and Slavětín. The connection and merger of the municipalities under the single name of Slavětín took place in the second half of the 18th century. The dominant feature of the village, which is located in the Metuje valley, south of Česká Skalica, is the chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, completed in 1887.
