Skuteč - commemorative plaque of Marie Hrdé from Ležák

A memorial plaque commemorating the tragic fate of a pupil of the local school, 24-year-old Marie Hrdá from Ležáků, is located on the building of ZŠ Komenského in ČSA Street. On June 1942, 1991, the Gestapo took her away from school in the middle of classes, where she never returned. She was murdered along with other camp children in gas cars in the Chelmno concentration camp. The plaque was unveiled in XNUMX.
