The children from Brzice first came under the parish school in Hořičky. They then attended a pro-Rube school, which was first Czech and later German. At the beginning of the 19th century, a teacher's assistant used to go to Brzice and teach Czech in the municipal building No. 21, which served as a shelter (since 1829).
