ŠKODA Museum

In 1895, Václav Laurin and Václav Klement founded a joint venture in Mladá Boleslav. ŠKODA thus belongs to one of the oldest car brands in the world. The museum brought this story to life in an authentic location – in the former production halls where cars were manufactured until 1928. Right next door, in the largest and most modern plant, this story continues: new Škoda vehicles roll off the production line there every day. In the museum too, history is always in motion: exhibitions, a series of events, concerts and, last but not least, changing exhibits offer inspiration and variety all year round.

In addition to tours in many languages, additional services are offered, for example for groups and children. It is possible to extend the tour of the permanent exhibition with a tour of the depository, in which a collection of prototypes and sports cars is hidden. • Tours of production facilities in Mlada Boleslav are held on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.00.


• The length of the standard excursion is 1,5 hours (two production plants).


• A tour of the plant is only possible for people aged 10 and over.


• A condition of the plant tour is to have your own means of transport with a place for our guides (car, minibus, bus) for transportation between production operations.
