Ski resort Kvilda

We are a smaller ski resort, due to its location and elevation of the slopes, ideal for families with children, beginners and ski courses. Slopes, ski school, ski rental, ski service and other facilities are right in the village of Kvilda with sufficient parking capacity, a number of restaurants and guesthouses. The capacity of the lifts is comfortably sufficient for clients staying directly in Kvilda or in nearby Borové Ladá, Filipová Huta, Modrava or Horská Kvilda and the surrounding area. We are also often visited by young skiers and ski courses from Zadovo and Nový Hutí. Every year we continue to modernize the area. We built a complete snowmaking system for the entire slope, modernized lifts and platforms, improved refreshments and facilities for visitors, built a completely new underground infrastructure. Our snowmobile not only prepares slopes and toboggan slopes,
but we also take care of a significant part of cross-country skiing tracks in the vicinity of Kvilda. Our web cameras and thermometers always provide you with completely real and up-to-date information about the Ski Kvilda area and its surroundings. , other days can be arranged if a larger group is interested. The slopes are groomed daily, as well as the slope of the ski school and the freely accessible slope for bobsledders and sledders, depending on the weather for snowmaking and the attractions of the small snow park. The cross-country skiing trails are a big attraction for our entire region, not only is the start and finish of the popular Šumava ski marathon here every year, but also regularly groomed trails of approx. 9 km in length in the center of the Šumava are connected to another 16-18 km of trails throughout the Šumava. Kvilda is therefore an ideal starting point for cross-country trips.
