Skalský rybník is located about 1 km south of the village of Lísek and 8 km east of Nové Město na Moravá, on the border of the Žďárské vrchy PLA. The pond on the Bystřice river is used for fishing, relaxation and is an ideal place for swimming. The beaches are grassy. There are tennis courts nearby. Skalský rybník is relatively shallow, the greatest depth reaches about 4 meters. Just a few meters northwest of the pond is the hotel Skalský dvůr, where it is possible to visit the indoor pool, sauna and tennis courts by appointment. Skalský rybník provides accommodation in the cottages and cottages below.
