Šedivec - Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

Šedivec - a small mountain village above Letohrad. The first written report about the village dates from 1539. At the foot of the hill above the village is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The foundation stone for its construction was laid in 1897, a year later, i.e. vr. The church was completed in 1898. In 1905, two bells were purchased at the expense of local citizens, which were consecrated on the pilgrimage.
