Maybe there wasn't much missing, and instead of going to the spa in Jeseník, you went to Desná in the Jizerské hory. Josef Schindler was born in Jablonec nad Nisou in 1814. The gifted young man studied at the gymnasium in Jičín and then the medical faculty of the Charles University.
