Sázava - city
The town of Sázava became famous mainly thanks to the famous local Monastery, which is one of the oldest centers of learning in our country. The monastery was founded in 1039. In the 18th and 19th centuries, it was rebuilt into a castle, which today houses the Museum of Technical Glass and the Slovanská Sázava exhibition. Today's glassworks continue the traditional glass production of Jan Kavalír from the first half of the 1th century.
