Rychnov in Moravia is a medium-sized village with 580 inhabitants and can be found north of Moravská Třebová, at the western foot of Rychnovského vrch (541 m above sea level) and in the valley of Rychnovského potok. There are smaller and larger forests around the village, and to the east of the village is the Rychnovský forest.
