Svitavský and Rosnička ponds

Just beyond the northwestern edge of the town of Svitavy are two ponds, Dolní or Svitavský and Horní or Rosnička. Both are fed by numerous streams flowing from the surrounding forests, the most important tributary being the Svitava. Rosnička is an older pond, founded in the 16th century.
