Sarovec pond
Originally, there was a large forest massif of the same name in these places, the rest of which can still be found today between Třebechovice pod Oreb, Jeníkovice and Polánky nad Dědinou. The first mentions of it, like everything in the vicinity, date back to the 16th century, when it was recorded in the urbars of the time. It is he who is also behind the naming of the current body of water, which should remind us that there used to be a forest in this locality as well...
