Jordan Pond

Jordan Pond is located directly in Tábor and has been associated with this town for over 500 years. This water reservoir, which originally served as a drinking water reservoir for Tábor, has an area of 50 hectares. Over time it was used for fish farming and today it is a place that is used for recreation. An interesting feature of the reservoir is the 18m high Jordánský waterfall - overflowing water from the reservoir into the Tismenický stream.
