The first written mention dates back to 1349. The name of the village is related to the setting of watch fires on the Old Road from Brno through Pernštejn to Bystřice, Jimramov, Polička and on to Bohemia. The dominant feature of the village is the church of St. Havel, whose creation dates back to the second half of the 13th century. The Hradisko hill (520 m) rises in the northeastern part of the village, on which there was a wooden castle, surrounded by stone and wooden ramparts.…
