On 15.8. a new observation tower was ceremoniously opened on the highest peak of the Veřovické vrchy - Velké Javorník. The 26 m high wooden building was financed by the state enterprise Lesy ČR.
When tourists climb the Velký javorník and then climb 106 steps, they will have a view of Lysá hora, Štramberská Trúba, Smrk, Radhošť and Ostrava.
