In the past, observation towers were built in places with a distant view, but today they are also built in places that are not favorable for them. One such lookout point is Mack's Mountain near Nové Strašecí. This observation tower was built ten years ago by Telefónica O2. It can be reached directly by car, the marked road from road II/237 turns here.
