On a prominent hill above the village of Kostomlaty stand the remains of one of the large stone castles in the Bohemian Central Mountains. The castle was built at the beginning of the 14th century. It was abandoned at the end of the 16th century and has been falling into disrepair ever since. A distinct ruin remains of the castle, dominated by two towers and the high remains of the walls of two palaces.
