Max Švabinský's lookout tower on Kozlovský hill

Kozlovský hill (601 m above sea level) is located southwest of Česká Třebová. Even a hundred years ago, it used to be a paradise for mushroom and blueberry growers. Since the twenties of the last century, however, it has also become interesting for tourists. In 1929, the workers of the Military Geographical Institute built the first 29-meter-high wooden observation tower on it with the contribution of the city. Five wooden ladders climbed up to its viewing platform.
