The Černá Studnice observation tower can be found near the town of Smržovka in the foothills of the Jizera Mountains. It was built together with the tourist hut in 1905. It is 26 meters high and therefore belongs to one of the highest stone viewpoints in the Jizera Mountains. The hill is the highest peak of the Černostudniční ridge.
