Already in the 13th century, gold-bearing ore was mined in the area. The greatest expansion was achieved by the English company, which in 1909-30 extracted 5770 kg of pure gold, with its contribution Roudný became the most important gold mine in Central Europe. Mining gradually declined, in 1927 there were still 200 workers working here and the shaft reached a depth of 450m, mining was stopped in the 30s during the economic crisis. Restored…
