Roštín is a larger foothills village with 700 inhabitants and can be found at the western edge of the Chřiby nature park and southwest of the town of Kroměříž. The road leading from Kroměříž to Koryčany passes through the village. The Rostínský stream flows through Rostín, and in its course there are two small ponds in the southern part of the village.
