Rodov (Smirice)
The settlement here is already of Paleolithic origin, which is proven by the findings of many stone threshing machines, mostly already broken, flint fragments, stones of old hand mills for crushing grain. Findings date back to 1879, when Václav Novák built a barn under Liskovec Hill from the time of the castle. Various ceramic shards were also found in the municipal gravel pit in the southwestern region of bLiskovce, for example in 1884.…
