Ratměřice - Park and sequoia trees
Two sequoia trees grow in the Castle Park in Ratměřice. They were dropped off by Count Chotek, the owner of the estate. The first living branches grow at a height of 12 m, the height of the crown is 32 m. The crowns are symmetrical, rather cylindrical in the lower part, becoming cone-like above. The trees grow very quickly and bear fruit regularly. They have soft, very thick cinnamon-colored bark, scaly, narrowly triangular, wedge-shaped, pointed leaves...
