Radegast
According to legends, Radhošť is connected with the worship of the supposed pagan god of hospitality, fertility and harvest, Radegast. Rumors say that his idol has stood on the top of the Mountain since ancient times. It is said that it was demolished by the Slavic evangelists Constantine and Methodius, who also visited here after their arrival in Great Moravia.
