A deserted pond

Rybník Pustý is located in the northwestern part of Blatná. The pond is used a lot for swimming. But it is in the city and that is not very usual, it is not in the center, but not on the outskirts of Blatná either. The pond is also called Pusťák by the locals. The water quality in it is better than in the other Blaten ponds. Swimming on the east bank is accessible from Holečkova Street, where you will find a grassy beach and a sandy bottom.
