Provodov - the first written report about the village dates back to 1213. The name of the village on the old trade route proves that the local residents "conducted" merchants and troops through the impenetrable forest through the Land Gate to Kladsk. In the 15th century, Provodov belonged to the Břevnov Benedictines, so the Hussites attacked the village and ravaged, including the church of St. Wenceslas in nearby Václavice.
