Prostějov - town hall tower

The dominant feature of the city of Prostějov is the Town Hall from 1914 with a tower with an astronomical clock 66 meters high. In the spring of 2011, the city began repairs to the tower with the goal of making it accessible to the public.
The reconstruction included building modifications, the construction of a new staircase, strengthening of the ceilings, the clockwork was also repaired, the drive and distribution of the movement of the clock in the lower part under the dials was repaired, as well as the beating and connecting cymbals...
