Prostějov-house of Jan Pavlát from Olšan (U Goliáše, U Rocha)

On the corner of Žižkova náměstí and náměstí TG Masaryk stands the house of Jan Pavlát from Olšan, also called "U Goliáše" or "U Rocha". At the beginning of the 16th century, the house was owned by a minor nobleman, Jan Pavláta from Olšan, who, after his promotion to knighthood in 1536, carried out a late Gothic reconstruction of the entire house.
