Prosenice is a relatively large agricultural mainly hop growing village with 890 inhabitants. The village is located in the northeast direction near Přerov and on the right bank of the Bečva river. There are extensive hop farms in the vicinity of the village. We can find a sugar factory in Prosenice. Rybník was built at the eastern and western edge of the village.
