The natural monument Tichá říčka was declared on 15.1.2008 by the Administration of the Jizerské Hory PLA. Regulation No. 1/2008 on the establishment of Natural Monuments entered into force on February 1, 2.
This is one of the few well-preserved peat and wetland meadows. Unfortunately, there was significant damage during attempts to extract peat and during melioration interventions. In the central part, there are two smaller bogs with fragments of peat...
