Klokoty, formerly an independent village, is located on the western edge of the town of Tábor and is known for its pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary from the first half of the 18th century. The church is built in the shape of a two-armed cross, and its main work of art is the main silver altar by František Soitz from 1743.
