Transverse vtch with a height of 975 meters is the highest peak of the Zlatohorská vrchovina, which is included in the Jeseníky Mountains.
There are no views from Příčné vrch, it is entirely wooded. There are quarries in its vicinity.
The pilgrimage church of Our Lady of Help (Maria Hilf) stands on its eastern slope, and several marked paths lead here, as well as two mining educational trails.
