The picturesque village of Přehvozdí is located 7 km from Kostelka nad Černými lesy. The poetic name of the village was created thanks to the forests that spread and still spread around. They stretch through Kostelec nad Černými lesy to the Sázava River and beyond. The village was founded before these forests and was originally called Přehvozd.
The first written mention of the village is from 1415, but it is clear that the settlement was here long before that...
