The small and neglected dam is located on the Vesnické stream in the middle of the Jezerka National Nature Reserve, in the valley between the Jedlová and Jezeř hills.
The dam was completed in 1904. It was built by the then owner of the Jezeří Castle, Prince Moritz Lobkovic. It served as a source of drinking water for nearby villages, which no longer exist today because they had to give way to coal mining. The stone dam is 17 meters high, 86…
