Prášilské lake and Polední hora

At the end of February, we decided to do the first 18 km of spring, and the ideal choice was a trip to one of the five Šumava lakes, located in the Poledník Kar - Prášilské jezero. Although Poledník is the fifteenth highest mountain in the Czech Šumava region (1315 m above sea level), it was quite a hike from the parking lot at Gruberg;-) Anyway, it was really worth it, even if we got to the lookout tower at the top thanks to fog and snow...
